Launch has rolled out a significant IMMO software release dated September 21, 2026, bringing a wide range of new unlocking, reading, writing and cloning capabilities to its key programming and ECU service platforms. The update focuses on modern ECU architectures such as MDG1, MD1, MG1, SIMOS 18.x and the RH850 chip family, and it touches anti-theft modules, body modules, engine control units and transmission control units across many vehicle brands.

Highlights of the September 21, 2026 Release

BMW B48 and B58 MDG1 ECUs built from 2020.06 onward can now be unlocked in bench mode.
Additional 2021 and newer MDG1 ECUs can be unlocked in boot mode.
SIMOS 18.x ECU cloning is now available.
